Exercises That Can Decrease The Look And Feel Of Cellulite

Others thought that the only means of lessening the appearance of cellulite is through applying creams and lotions and by undergoing liposuction procedures. But this is not true at all, for there are a lot of exercises that could help to effectively lessen the cellulite formation on your body, especially on the leg area. Aside from making your skin smooth and flawless, these exercises are also effective in toning your legs and making it strong and attractive.

Knee Extensions

You need a chair to sit on in order to perform this exercise and you have to make sure that your feet are barely touching the floor. Flex your right toes and bring your leg up slowly until it will be in parallel with the floor and hold on to such position for up to two seconds. Afterwards, bring down your right leg and do the same thing with your left leg, and then switch both legs over up to ten repetitions.

Barbell Squat Exercise

As the name puts it, you will need to hold on to a barbell when performing this exercise, making sure that your feet are shoulder width apart from each other before bending your knees down. Hold on to your position for two to five seconds and then go back to the starting position. Perform this exercise with at least ten repetitions each day, and you'll soon be able to get rid of cellulite.

Inner Thigh Lift Exercise

Use a mat to do this exercise for you need to lie your head on it while your other arm is outstretched. Slowly bend down your right knee and stay for up to two seconds before bringing your body back to a straight position. Do the same thing with your left knee, making sure that the right arm will be outstretched this time and then switch over, until you achieve ten repetitions.

Wall Squats

Stand about one foot away from the wall with your back facing and leaning on the wall. After that, slide your body down slowly until you reach the sitting position and your thighs will be in parallel with the floor. Hold on to this position for as long as you can, before slowly going back to the starting position.

Depending on the severity of your cellulite, performing these exercises on a daily basis could help to lessen the appearance of cellulite in your body.
