Skincare In 3D: Why Moisturizer Should Be Applied In Real Time

By Jim Vacey

Is there a chance that CGI films can get so high-quality that the use of moisturizer will become a 3D effect? It has gotten to the point that everything has become a fantasy of reality, even skincare! I am completely amazed at the level of sophistication that CGI has achieved. The Matrix has become a realism.

Skincare is something that human beings can do without a computer screen swathed behind them yet we produce more and more movies that depict real time situations in the most elaborate ways. CGI films have not gotten to the point where all human behavior is computer made but it is getting close. Will computers generate images of human activity outside of Hollywood?

Moisturizer is a blend that is pumped out of a tube and rubbed all over the legs, hands and face. Envisage if American Pie was all CGI. Imagine the use of moisturizer in the context that the character Jim used his skincare product. This is actuality being made to look authentic. Reality is not needed anymore apparently. The need to be human is slowly becoming outdated.

Why can't humans be human anymore? Why can't we just pick up the moisturizer in front of a camera in a real room and do proper skincare in real time rather than as a computer image? I'll tell you why. Humans do not want to be held responsible for their actions. People want the credit for doing something but not have to put forth the action to get it completed.

The destruction of reality is upon us. People can't even put on moisturizer without faking it. Skincare is an act that only humans carry out. Why submit what humans do to computers? Are we to become the losses that were depicted in The Terminator? Will Skynet or Agent Smith tell us when and where we rub on moisturizer?! Who knows?
