You must use a top coat if you want your manicure to last longer. The top coat should be applied right after your manicure, and keep applying thin touch-ups each day to prevent the polish from peeling or chipping. Your manicure can be extended by many days, if you use the right formula.

Vaseline is great to smooth all over your feet around bedtime. This softens them and makes them smooth, almost as if you had just come from having a pedicure. Do this every night, and you'll never need to pumice again. After you apply the Vaseline, don some socks before you tuck yourself in for the night.

Put a large amount of Vaseline on your feet at bedtime, slip on some thick socks and leave it on overnight. In the morning, the skin on your feet will be noticeably softer.

You can create your own mouthwash with peppermint oil and purified water. For each ounce of water used, add one droplet of oil. After you boil your water, measure your peppermint oil into a heat-resistant container. Next, slowly add the boiling water to the container. Drape a clean piece of fabric over the top of the container and set aside for cooling. Pour this into a container, such as a bottle, with an air-tight lid. There you have it, your own, ready to use, bottle of homemade mouthwash.

If your dandruff is getting really bad, try using shampoo mixed with crushed aspirin. This medicine has the unusual effect of reducing scalp dryness. This is an effective way to deal with dandruff without spending a fortune on special dandruff shampoos.
